BIG BJJ Promotions!

On November 24, 2007 Wagnney Fabiano visited Martial Arts Planet to make two special presentations. Rebecca Sweeney received her well-deserved BJJ Brown Belt from Wagnney while Mike Sweeney was promoted to BJJ Black Belt. These are huge steps and we will be working hard to live up to the responsibility which comes with these new ranks. Many thanks to Wagnney for his support and loyalty throughout the years!

New Blue Belt!

On Thursday Sept. 20th I was very happy to present our long time student Peter Hawrish with his well deserved BJJ Blue Belt. Peter, who is currently stationed out of town, spent the entire last week training at our gym. I am very pleased to see that he has kept up his training and I look forward to seeing him continue to progress.

Another BJJ Promotion

Huge congratulations goes out to MAP's Alec Charlebois for his recent promotion to Blue Belt in BJJ. Alec has been a regular at Martial Arts Planet for some time and has put in a ton of time on the mat. After a hard iron-man session Alec received the promotion in the August 30th BJJ class. Excellent job Alec. Keep up the great work.

New BJJ Blue Belt

During our Annual Barbeque on July 21st we were happy to present Eric Morrin with his BJJ Blue Belt. Eric has been training BJJ for years and has held the junior rank of Green Belt for a number of them. This month Eric turns 18 and can officially be promoted to the Blue Belt which he definitely deserves. Congratulations Eric!
